BEFORE:

Most of the rooms in this home were painted a dusty rose color, from the ceiling and light switches and face place to the fireplace.

The adult siblings decided it was time to give the home a facelift.

AFTER:

The colors we chose were grays and a stark white for contrast. The home is now brighter, fresher and updated. The ceiling is painted a flat white while the moldings, baseboards, and some of the doors and drawers are painted a semi-gloss white. See more of the transformation under portfolio.

This client was considering tearing out the brick on their fireplace. I suggested paint options first. They were afraid of painting the fireplace so I suggested doing the walls first to get them comfortable.

AFTER:

They were thrilled to see how the dark blue brought out the color of the bricks and are now considering making the upper part of the wall the same dark blue for more drama.

There are no before pics for this room but the walls were white, the doors and molding were natural and bleached out. The client's sister and her family were coming to visit and she wanted the room to be warm and welcoming.

AFTER:

So we decided to go with an almost black grey on the walls, paint all the wood white so that the room would not feel like a hole and use blinds on the windows.

The client changed out the bedspread with another that she already had and said that her husband was so pleased that he wanted to keep painting other rooms!
